Very good sound quality. Easy to use powered monitor.Solid quality.These speakers are money. I’ve worked in audio a long time and I’ve noticed people’s reviews for many things of this nature are not portrayed right. You see people saying out the box the speakers make noise or crackle and such. This is not the speaker this is a person without knowledge of setting up audio correctly. 99% of the time that means your buffer size or sample rates aren’t set up right from whatever your using and sending audio to the monitors. Also using unbalanced inputs will cause hissing and unwanted outside noise do to the antenna like nature of unbalanced lines. So guys please do your homework and I am positive you will be amazed at how much amazing ness even the 5 inch put out. My only warning is if you live in an apartment your neighbors better be cool because I have never turned these past halfway with the levels on the speakers themselves at a little above half and they smack.The work very well with mixing boardno dents no scratches no imperfections. works just as it should for budget monitor speakersbest bang for buckI've had a pair of Rokit 5 monitors on my desktop for a decade. They don't get used very often but have always sounded great when the occasion to use them came about.Recently one failed; it just started buzzing one day.I ordered a "Classic" to replace it since it appeared to be an exact replacement for the one that had gone bad. But it turns out that the "Classic" is actually an updated version from what I had, with an incredibly annoying feature: it goes to sleep (probably intended as an energy saving feature) and won't wake up again unless I send a *very* high input level to it.So now I have this brand new speaker to replace my old one, except that when I need to play audio through the rig the only one that comes on is the old one. In order to get the new one to wake up I have to CRANK the volume from my computer...and then it still has a delay of 5-10 seconds before it comes on.I get that the idea was probably to save energy when the speaker wasn't being used, but the implementation is TERRIBLE; sleeping is okay as long as it will actually "wake up" when it's needed. Unfortunately it doesn't.Am confused, I got a pair of these. Delivery on point.With Excitement, connected them and they only went on for a few seconds and went off.I knew it was the fuse, I checked and changed. The same thing happened again.What do I do next? Why is the fuse blowing off. My power source is 240V, the fuse reads 250V.I’m no expert but after watching many reviews on monitor speakers these come out as a top buy! So far I’m very impressed and glad I made the purchase.The ad is misleading. It should be in the title that it’s just one speaker and not a pair. Wasted my time.Estos monitores KRK Classic 5, me funcionan muy bien. El sonido es claro y preciso. Justo lo que se necesita para mezclar y masterizar. Los ajustes analógicos que trae atrás son fáciles de ajustar, nì mas ni menos, justos los necesarios. Los conecte con cables balanceados TRS y una interfaz Behringer UMC202HD. Reproducen muy bien el rango de frecuencias, reproduce agudos y graves con muy buena calidad, claridad y precisión. Se oye muy "clarito". El tamaño es ideal para un espacio pequeño. Hasta ahora me han funcionado sin problemas.Tiene las caracteristicas y funciones similares a las de un G3, pero con una construcción actualizada y mejorada como la de los G4. Por eso eso estos KRK Classic 5, son como algo intermedio entre los G3 y los nuevos G4. La principal ventaja que les veo, es que tienen una respuesta "plana" en la gama de frecuencias, que produce un sonido mas "real", y que es muy bueno para las mezclas, con una construcción y respuesta del nivel de los G4 pero a un precio mas bajo, mas accesible.Very good speaker.
