I have five of these and they have been reliable, accurate with good connectivity. I wasn't sure about using them outdoors and it was hard to get a clear answer from reading the reviews and questions. I have been using two outdoors, one is attached to wall under an eave where no moisture gets to it directly and in a garage. They both work very well outdoors. We live in the Northwest so our weather is not as extreme perhaps as in other parts of the country.
