My mom fell and broke her hip(partial replacement). Not ready to transfer by herself and at night she is safely able to use these due to their low profile. Do we have a few spills here and there when she removes, yes, however this pan has literally allowed me much needed sleep. She did not ring this morning until both were full and she needed to go again. Quite literally as a person working FT at home and being a 24/7 caregiver I am not being dramatic to say this product has saved me many tears that otherwise would have been shed. Just buy a 4 pack of water resistant pads and if leaks occur roll out the old as long as patient is allowed to roll some and roll up the new have patient roll and bingo you are good and can go back to bed! I am an occupational therapist so this type of product is my line of work, but any good HH nurse, PT, OT or CNA can show you how easy these are to use. Good luck!
