Love this monitor!! My old monitor, which was my old ViewSonic 27 or 29" flatscreen TV which was many years old and working great, was fried when the power company put in Smart Meters. I read the reviews and decided on this monitor. I didn't have a bit of trouble with the stand -- of course I read the instructions and it snapped right into place and it's very solid, even though it's on a surface that isn't really solid (long story). It worked perfectly from the very first, no problems at all, and is so much sharper and prettier images than my other monitor. I had been tinkering with the windows settings in order to keep my dying old monitor alive, so I had to do that again the second time I used it, but no problems at all since I purchased it weeks ago. I think the price was amazing, and I love almost everything about this monitor. I have a Logitech 3 speaker system, so I really appreciate the speakers being soft because my (condo) neighbor pounds on the wall if I have even a hint of loudness, like on YouTube at the first. Having two speaker systems is the perfect set up with all the differing volumes that come across the internet. I agree with what others have said about the controls of the monitor, but I turn it off (or to sleep) with my computer, so I never use the controls anyway. For me, this product is an A+, with the quality I've loved all through the years with ViewSonic, and a lot of improvements in the sharpness of the images.
