This is the second one of these I have purchased. I bought the first one earlier this year for my four-year-old to use on a two day road trip. It was great - she was able to operate it mostly herself pretty quickly and it made the trip much easier on my husband and I because she was happy and entertained. I gave it four stars because I accidentally knocked it off of our coffee table and broke it - I would like it to be a little tougher than that. However, for the price it's a great little DVD player and I bought another one a few weeks ago again in advance of a long road trip.The best feature is how the screen can swivel around and be tilted to almost any angle or even fold flat - this allows you to completely cover the buttons with the screen if you want to. That makes it a lot more toddler friendly which is great when my younger daughter (20 months) wants to use it because she can't resist pushing a button if it's visible to her!Another perk is that the two charging cords that come with it are a good, generous length. We were able to plug it into an outlet on the back of or truck's center console and run it back to my daughter in her car seat without the cord being pulled on at all - there was plenty of slack left in it. I definitely recommend this DVD player.
