I’ve used side handles from all the different companies and this Nitze grip remains my #1 top pick. More solidly built and trustworthy than Kondor Blue’s side wing (@ 1/2 the price) and just as comfortable as Tilta’s wooden grip (@ 1/3 the price).I have twin Arri rosette versions of this handle that are my go-to grips for my rig when I’m shooting action stuff, but I wanted one that could attach to my FX30 if I use it without a rail system, so it had to use nato rail attachment. This guy hugs the camera (I can’t stand these handles that stick way out- I feel like it’s extra stress on the attachment and it also creates to wide a profile) and that snug fit gives me a lot of control and helps smooth out handheld footage.It has a plethora of mounting options on top (cold shoe, 1/4 20, Arri 3/8 with pins) but it’s pistol grip style with the rubber grip makes me feel like I’m not gonna lose my grip when I’m shooting in the heat. Winner and still champion.
