I actually bought this to dismantle and use to make a custom Bluetooth setup for a display case, but prior to this I tested it to see how good it was and I really wasn't expecting too much. I was pleasantly surprised to find it's actually a very nice little speaker, considering the size of it. The sound is good, the highs aren't tinny and the bass is effective. It's easy to control with just three buttons, plus it also has a built in SD card slot so you can load music onto it and not have to have it connected to a phone or other device.I know this is designed for kids, but it really is a decent little speaker. Additionally, the "animal" part of it is simply a moulded rubber case, so the speaker can be removed if necessary and is just a plain white cube.
