This elegant stand offers numerous possibilities beyond serving as a mere monitor stand. Frankly, this superbly attractive glass stand is too elegant to be limited to such a function. The beautifully designed components truly shine when paired with your favorite products.My perfect use for it is as a mini audio system rack. I searched high and low for the ideal mini audio stand for my compact audio system, but had no luck until I inadvertently came across this stand on Amazon. It was love at first sight. I ordered it immediately and couldn't wait for it to arrive.The overall proportions are well done. The glass thickness may seem a little thin at first, but the chosen thickness of the glass, with the elegant design esthetics in mind, was a good choice. Furthermore, the tempered glass can support weights up to 45 lbs. The glass edges are polished with a matte finish, which adds to the contemporary appearance. Finally, the corner radius on the glass is just right - not too rounded or sharp, somewhat consistent with the radius of the wooden base. The combination of the beautiful clear glass and the rectangular wooden support, along with the machined aluminum offset, creates a very pleasing presentation that enhances anything you place on it. My setup involves stacking two stands on top of each other to create a two-level mini audio rack. The intriguing geometric wooden base, paired with the delicate clear glass and precision-machined aluminum, creates an exceptionally beautiful design piece with stunning lines.Assembly is fairly simple; it only takes four screws to complete. A couple of things that could be improved are the manufacturing finish of gluing the aluminum posts onto the glass and the finish quality of the wooden base. There is some glue spillage on the glass around the aluminum posts, and some of the wooden base has glue marks as well as small gaps at the joints. Additionally, the handling and packaging of the wooden base could be improved to prevent small dents. A combination of swapping and turning of the wooden base was done to minimize dents and marks from showing on the wooden base when assembled.The pricing is fair, considering that the wooden base has to go through several assembly and finishing processes compared to similar stands. The overall dimensions are 17 L x 9 W x 3.75 H (including the rubber bumper feet) inches. I think the design looks stunning, and you will not find a stand with this level of elegance and design at this price.
